I feel like I just wasted several hours trying to figure stuff out for a character design.

I have no idea what in the flying hell I am doing and I apparently unsure of what to ask in order to get assistance. Sure, I can write a character sheet, outline that character’s whole life, but translating that information visually is not working. Not at all.

You might try something really rough, then. When I get stuck like that, I take a sort of shotgun approach with silhouettes and scribbles and work up from the simplified designs. Sorry if this is what you’re already doing.

And, what’s sad is if I were just writing a story, I’d be done by now. Oy…

I’m supposed to be working on character designs for my sequential art and book publishing classes, but I’M FREAKING STUCK! I have a story that is kind of okay, and some good descriptions of them, but I can’t seem to think about how to get them looking the way I want them to.

I feel so lost…
